This is like the train wreck of Wall Street, I can sit here and watch but can't do anything about it. I have written all the elected representatives I can find and they seem to be drinking the Kool-Aid of taking care of their Wall Street friends, they were not worried about bailing out my small business when the hard times hit.
I will not vote for either of our Senators or Zack Wamp again, they are not any different than a Tax and Spend Democrat except they want the grandkids to pay for their spending. If these are things we should be doing, then pay for it. If you can't bring yourself to vote for the money to pay for something, then don't spend it.
The 850B bailout for Wall Street would have been better spent on my 401K, but they don't seem to care about what happens to a regular person, just the big campaign contributors. We need to teach the Republicans a lesson during this election, they forgot how to watch over spending and spent more than a Democrat would. I hope when they get their A$$'s kicked by the public, they learn the lesson they forgot when they took over in the 90's. I normally believe in a split government but this one time, I hope the Republican party gets its' tail kicked for not doing the right thing. I plan on voting out the Democrats in 4 years but the GOP has to learn a hard lesson, if you are not going to be different, who needs you. Read
Kind of the same thing for Fulmar, if he can't deliver, then replace him.

Calm down Bro, the thoughts of Barney Frank, Chris Dodd, Harry Reid and Nancy (she is an idiot) Pelosi being in charge is scary. Remember, they have been in charge the past two years or so. My biggest disappointment is that from both parties this is supposedly the cream of the crop. Takes one hell of an ego to run. See you at Christmas. Jim
I agree that they are scary BUT I am in the mood to punish the GOP for the 8 years of Bush and the 6 years of acting like Democrats and spending everything they could get their hands on.
And Sarah Palin is an airhead. If McCain had been McCain and moved to the middle, gotten a good VP candidate and run away from Bush, I believe in split government but if we reward the Republicans they will not learn.
Do you really think the bailout is working? Why should I spend my (or Taylor’s) tax dollars to help a Wall Street Bank or AIG. The stock holders of these companies should be bearing the burden, they did not provide the oversight of their investments so take the hit. McCain says he is different but I haven’t seen it during the campaign, he is just like the rest, tell me different things to suit his political needs.
He is telling me more about Obama and what is wrong with him than what is good and right (way right) about McCain.
Sorry, time for the other direction and let’s see if we can get to the middle.
To quote Howard Dean, "The Republicans will just borrow and spend", that is different than tax and spend. Which is worst for the country?
